Enjoy a FREE family weekend and truly see the West come to life at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art's Kids West! A weekend-long fun-on-the-range Kids West at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art is always the third weekend in July, timed to coincide with the community-wide, Shindig!

Bubbles Galore - See bubble demonstrations and bubble magic, and then try your hand at making your own bubbles with old time wands and ropes. |

Art Hunt - Be a Detective! Young visitors match an artist's drawing to images found in the paintings and objects throughout the galleries. |

Kids' West Play Area - Ignite your imagination through make-believe! Dress-up in old-time boots and chaps, or colonial wear and pretend you are part of the Old West in the Blackfoot Teepee and Mini Trading Post. |

Old Frontier Games - Challenge yourself or a "Partner" to games that were part of frontier life. |

Create Your Own Buckaroo Bandana - Make your own bandana just like the buckaroos of the Old West! Become a cowpoke with your personally crafted bandana. |

Panning for Gold - Test your panning skills to find a "Kids Rock" Gem in the panning for gold activity. |
