Is it a memorable experience of being in a gallery surrounded by original, high-quality works of art? Or, is it quality time experiencing free family activities like an Art Hunt or a Sketching in the Galleries program? It could be the Museum's education programs that touch the lives of youth-at-risk or help heal the spirit of children who have experienced a loss. For some, it could be a restorative evening of quality music on the terrace or a thought-provoking lecture in a gallery.
Whatever your thought is, the Rockwell Museum needs your help to keep your inspiration alive.
In the current economic environment with so many organizations requesting support, you may ask, "Why does the Rockwell need my help?" Simply put, as a non-profit organization, the Museum has limited resources to provide its programs and services in order to remain a valuable asset to the community. At the Rockwell, admission ticket and gift shop sales account for only 15% of the operating budget. Some 85% of our operating income is dependent upon funding from outside sources-including donations from people like you who have been inspired by Museum programs and the collections.
Any gift amount over and above your annual membership is meaningful--$50 develops an Art Hunt family gallery activity; $250 can frame a painting; $300 will totally fund a classroom's three-part educational program including a tour of the Museum; $500 will support a lecture by a visiting scholar or a musical program in the galleries.
Please make a gift today and consider participating in your company or affiliation's matching gift program to increase your contribution to the Museum at no extra cost to you.
Thank you for your support and best wishes for the holiday season!
