Founding Collector Robert F. Rockwell, Jr. becomes Trustee Emeritus

CORNING, NY - On June 14, the Rockwell Museum of Western Art Board of Trustees honored founding collector Robert 'Bob' F. Rockwell, Jr. after twenty-four years of faithful, enthusiastic and passionate service to the Museum. Robert F. Rockwell, Jr. was elected a Trustee Emeritus of the Rockwell Museum of Western Art.

Wild at Heart: Highlights from the Collection of the National Museum of Wildlife Art

CORNING, NY - The Rockwell Museum of Western Art is pleased to present Wild at Heart: Highlights from the Collection of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This exhibit depicts North American wildlife from the United States and Canada painted and sculpted by some of the finest historic and contemporary American artists. It also features work by artists from France, Sweden, and Germany, providing a testament to the attractive nature of our wilderness areas and wildlife populations to artists from foreign countries.

Crafted to Perfection: The Nancy & Alan Cameros Collection of Southwestern Pottery

CORNING, NY - For over 20 years, Rochester's Nancy and Alan Cameros have researched and collected exceptional Native American pottery by the finest contemporary and historical artists of the Southwest. Today that collection has grown to over 200 works of art and it is the Rockwell Museum of Western Art's distinct honor to host more than 100 of these pieces in a never-before-seen public exhibition. Crafted to Perfection: The Nancy & Alan Cameros Collection of Southwestern Pottery will be on display at the Museum beginning November 23 and running through May 18, 2008.
